An Idaho native, Sarah graduated from the University of Idaho, College of Law in 2008, and joined Barker Rosholt & Simpson LLP, in 2009. Before joining the firm, she worked at the United States Department of Interior in Washington, D.C. as Special Counsel to the Secretary’s Indian Water Rights Office. Sarah also completed a legal internship at the Department of Interior in 2007. Sarah practiced in-house with Idaho Power Company from 2014 to 2020, before rejoining Barker Rosholt & Simpson. In her time with Idaho Power, Sarah gained extensive knowledge on hydropower relicensing, Clean Water Act compliance and Endangered Species Act compliance.
