Born and raised in a cattle ranching and farming family, Nicole draws from her practical experience to assist agricultural and rural communities in navigating modern legal and regulatory challenges. A fourth generation Idahoan, Nicole obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boise State University before graduating from the University of Idaho College of Law. While attending law school she was awarded the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarship for her dedication to the perpetuation of our natural resources and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Chief Judge B. Lynn Winmill of the United States District Court for the District of Idaho.
Prior to joining Barker Rosholt & Simpson, Nicole served as an adviser to the Idaho Legislature actively advocating for the interests of rural Idahoans and as a Renewable Energy Specialist in the Governor's Office of Energy. When not at work, Nicole can most likely be found enjoying Idaho’s outdoors whether hiking, hunting, fly-fishing, camping or rock climbing.
